We've had a great year attending shows in Las Vegas, AmericasMart, High Point and Tupelo! We've made some wonderful new contacts, and couldn't be happier to bring our expertly handcrafted rugs into homes across the globe. We look forward to doing it all again in 2012; our show schedule for 2012 is as follows:

It's been a very busy year for Chandra!

In the spring, Chandra released its third volume of product catalogs, this time in a dual catalog format; one for texture collections, and one for patterns. The new catalogs profiled many of Chandra's best sellers, as well as new collections that became available in 2011.

Among the new collections were favorites: the Stone Collection, Kubu, additions to the ThomasPaul line, and the introduction of designer line Inhabit Living. Using a diverse range of materials, and the expert handcrafting Chandra is known for, the new collections were making their way quickly from container shipments to FedEx delivery trucks.

Also making its way into homes everywhere, Chandra debuted a brand new website in late spring to provide customers with the most current product line information, photos, and releases. Shopchandra.com worked with web specialists to provide customers with a one stop location to find any Chandra rug, product description, available sizes, and color comparisons. For customers or retailers who had yet to receive a physical catalog, the website provided the same information without the extra weight. This accessiblity in processes and improvements from product creation to delivery led Chandra to make an extra large (pun intended) announcement months later.

In August, Chandra acquired its second warehouse, which neighbors its current facilities, providing an additional 85,000 square feet of product space. The new facility will help to create a more streamlined product hierarchy within both buildings, while contributing to logistics improvements within the company. The new acquisition will also allow Chandra customers to see constant additions of new collections, as well as having past collections continually available for immediate shipment.

Chandra is looking forward to 2012, with new collections currently being manufactured, set for release for the early shows of the year.
